A Day in the Life: When Hubby’s Away

It’s been a really long time since I shared a “day in the life” post where I chronicle an entire single day in our life.

The last few weeks have been ridiculously crazy. We finally closed on our house here in New Jersey and will soon be out of the apartment and finally into our own place. But the process to get to this point was way more complicated and stressful than it should have been.

And on top of all the house stress and the regular life stress, hubby was away all of last week, leaving me on my own to manage all of the life things including feeding the kids a thousand times a day, getting everyone where they need to be for classes (and home again) and ensuring we didn’t kill each other in the process.

It was not the most fun week we’ve had by a long shot, but we survived nonetheless and are now getting ready for a much needed vacation back to Dublin (which will hopefully be as therapeutic as it was for me the last time we visited 3 years ago) before we get our things from Ohio and begin the process of actually moving into our new home.
