See How They Grow

I have a photo album I call our “Growing Book.”  Starting from Honeybun’s birth I’ve taken a picture periodically of each child with a special stuffed animal that is just theirs for their “growing pictures”.  I take a picture every week for the first two months then every month until a year and less and less often until we just do birthdays.  It’s a great way to see how they’ve grown and my goal is to continue it (hopefully with minimal protesting) until they are 18 and leave for college.

I started putting Doodle’s pictures in from his birthday and first two weeks and realized I’m behind on the girls!  While I took the pictures, I never printed them and placed them in the book (or printed them but didn’t put them in the book and now don’t know when they’re from!).   Honeybun was up to date except her 3 and 4 year old pictures but my poor middle child I stopped at 6 months (and it appears I may have missed 8 months altogether).  So, I’ve been working all afternoon trying to get everything up to date.

Something caught my attention, though when I was flipping through:  All three kids at their 2 weeks picture are doing virtually the same pose:
