Three Days in Dublin

We have successfully finished our third and final day in Dublin without hubby.

While some people think I’m crazy for taking on a foreign city alone with three kids (while prenant, no less!) I wouldn’t do it any place but here. This city was our home for so many years and I am so happy to be back!

And The past 72 hours have been far from mundane. We have walked over 8 miles; been to 6 playgrounds and 1 museum; had tea or coffee at 6 different places; seen 5 old friends (families) and made countless new friends.

We’ve gone 9 stops each way on the train, 13 stops one way on the tram and an hour one way on the bus.

I’ve accomplished 7 of my top ten must dos and will easily get through the remaining three with hubby the next few days (all things we’ve been saving for him).

We’ve bought 6 dresses, 3 shirts, 1 skirt, 1 pair of shorts, 2 pairs of shoes, 9 pairs of socks, 3 headbands and 30 hairties…all for under €60 (equivalent to about $67 at today’s exchange rate…hence #7 on my ten must dos!)

I can only imagine all we will do the next three days with hubby and while we’ve had a grand time without him, I’ll be thankful for the help! (My tired, aching body mostly!)
