A Never-Ending Day

This is the day that never ends, it just goes on and on my friends!

By 7:30 this morning I had already:

  • made coffee
  • had breakfast
  • checked my email, Facebook and posted to the blog

By 8:30 I had already:

  • put in a load of laundry
  • cleaned up a shredded wheat mess
  • folded (and refolded) two baskets of laundry

SONY DSCBy 9:30 I had already:

  • done spelling with the girls
  • read a chapter of Kirsten’s Birthday to Honeybun
  • replaced the batteries in Doodle’s shake-n-go planes
  • finished my coffee (before it was ICE cold!!!)

By 10:30 I had already:

  • finished the girls’ school for the day (plus extra)
  • nursed Doodle three times
  • read three Thanksgiving books with Sugarplum’s help

SONY DSCBy 11:30 I had already:

  • completed an entire art project with the kids
  • prepared lunch

By 12:30 I had already:

  • eaten lunch and cleaned up
  • settled all three little ones in for nap time
  • hopped in the shower

By 1:30 I had already:

  • finished a blog post (pictures included!)
  • started a guest blog post
  • watched an episode of Parenthood

By 2:30 I had already:

  • fed everyone a snack (nap only lasted until 1:45, unfortunately!)
  • started having the girls get ready for dance classes
  • nursed Doodle three more times

SONY DSCBy 3:30 I had already:

  • emptied the dryer and started to fold more clothes
  • gotten everyone to the dance studio and the girls into class

It’s now just after 5:30, we’re home from dance and have opened our new school books I’ve been waiting for and we’ve STILL got an hour to go before hubby gets home from work.  And I STILL have to make dinner and I STILL have to go teach tonight.

While I’ve been super productive today, it’s not because I wanted to be.  It’s because I HAD to be in order to not lose my mind (or patience with the kids).  Seriously, this day will not end!
