Earlier this week, I shared what I’m thankful for<\/a> this year so today I thought I’d share a holiday essay Honeybun has been working on this week about her favorite things about Thanksgiving.  It was her first 5-paragraph essay and while we had some frustration and hard times getting it done, I think she did an awesome job!<\/p>\n

Thanksgiving is about Pilgrims and Indians having a feast so we do the same now. Many things are important about Thanksgiving.  My favorite parts of thanksgiving are my family, turkey, and pumpkin pie.<\/p>\n

The most important thing to me is my family. I don’t always get to see a lot of my family so we get together on Thanksgiving. I like spending time with my family because I love them and because they are my family.<\/p>\n

Turkey is also important to me.  We don’t always have it so I like it on Thanksgiving.  I like it because I like the skin.<\/p>\n

Pumpkin pie is one of my favorites too.  We have pumpkin pie on special occasions like Thanksgiving.  I like it because the crust is crunchy sometimes.<\/p>\n

There are many things that are important about Thanksgiving.  The most important things for me are my family, turkey and pumpkin pie.  Thanksgiving is a big celebration!<\/p>\n
