When I was pregnant with Sugarplum, I had another friend pregnant with her second as well. \u00a0Her eldest is now in middle school but I vividly remember my dear friend’s profile picture from that time of her full belly painted with love by her older daughter. \u00a0It was an idea I have always loved but did not take\u00a0advantage of trying myself, until last night.<\/p>\n

In anticipation of this little one’s (hopefully!) impending arrival, I bared my ever growing belly, armed my children with paintbrushes and opened up the paint jars for a little family belly painting. \u00a0And the following minutes were some I will never forget as our family came together to literally surround this tiny little person with love and art.<\/p>\n
