With Honeybun quickly approaching her seventh birthday, I am constantly reminded how my life has changed over those seven years. \u00a0And one of those changes is having alone time and\u00a0any sort of potty privacy is something of a distant memory! Doodle\u00a0has recently taken a new interest in all things potty which has made me realize that having a toddler is like being potty trained all over again and here\u2019s why:<\/p>\n

You\u2019re never alone. Ever. There is always someone there, watching, waiting\u2026<\/p>\n

You get a play by play. \u201cMommy poo-poo?\u201d \u201cYes, Mommy\u2019s going potty.\u201d \u201cWiiiiiiiipe.\u201d \u201cYep, mommy is all done\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

You always have helping hands.You can no longer get your own toilet paper or flush the toilet yourself, someone else will take care of that for you!<\/p>\n

Speaking of toilet paper, You only get a few squares for cleaning up. While two or three tushy tissue squares is more than enough for a tiny two year old tush, this 6 months pregnant butt requires a bit more than that!<\/p>\n

You get checked for cleanliness. I can\u2019t tell you how many little faces have peered in to check out my potty business (okay, it\u2019s been 3 so far\u2026) and wiping is apparently the most fascinating thing a toddler has ever seen!<\/p>\n

You get celebrated when you\u2019re done. No potty trip ends without a \u201cYay!\u00a0 Mommy done!\u201d Which does kind of make me feel good, I don\u2019t get that kind of celebratory attention any other time during my day!<\/p>\n
