A big part of what has made me the mommy that I am is the mommy that I was given.\u00a0 Not only am I fortunate to have had a wonderful mommy growing up, but I am overwhelmingly grateful for the Grandmother that my mommy has become for my children.<\/p>\n

I am constantly amazed and overwhelmed by how unlimitedly giving my mom is, how she always puts me and my children first and most amazingly how she never minds.\u00a0 She provides us with constant support and help in whatever way she can and never asks for anything in return.<\/p>\n

What really makes her a great mom for me and grandma to my children, though, is how despite our parenting differences she backs me up no matter what.\u00a0 The parenting choices hubby and I have made are not the same she made or would have made but she still supports my choices and follows through with my children even if I’m not there.\u00a0 She never undermines my authority or says “it’s ok, mommy won’t know.” While she may question why we’ve made our choices, she doesn’t judge or tell us we’re wrong, she has just unconditionally accepted our parenting choices and has joined the team whole-heartedly.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know if or how I would have survived the past few weeks without my mom around.\u00a0 From cooking for my family to doing our grocery shopping, picking Honeybun\u00a0up from school and even taking the girls overnight so hubby and I could sleep in has all made a huge difference in my smooth transition to mommy of three.<\/p>\n

Mom: \u00a0I Love you. I know I\u2019ve been hard to handle the past few months and haven\u2019t always been the nicest despite your never wavering support and help, and I\u2019m sorry.\u00a0 Just know that I am forever indebted to you for everything you have done for me and my family and I am truly grateful to have you in my life and I feel my children are forever blessed to have you in their lives as well.<\/p>\n

(And Gran\u2019ma, thank you for giving me such as wonderful mommy and being such a wonderful influence in my life and that of my children).<\/p>\n
