Today dealt me one of my biggest mommying devastations\u00a0to date (aside from hospital emergency room visits<\/a>, of course!)<\/p>\n

I’ve always adored Sugarplum’s hair. \u00a0And not just because she’s my only baby who actually\u00a0had<\/em> hair,<\/p>\n

\"s\"s\"s<\/p>\n

but because she has curls. \u00a0Amazing, beautiful, wonderful, adorable curls. \u00a0My hair is pretty close to stick straight (I can\u00a0sometimes<\/em> wrangle some decent waves out of it but not usually very successfully) and so I’ve always delighted in her precious little locks.<\/p>\n

She’s been asking me for awhile when we were going to get our hair cut<\/a> again and I keep telling her when we have time. \u00a0Well, today…<\/p>\n

You can probably guess…<\/p>\n

She took matters into her own hands and truthfully, I am heartbroken. \u00a0I don’t even know what to say to her about it other than “your curls! \u00a0your beautiful curls are never coming back!”<\/p>\n
