I was left with tons of Thanksgiving leftovers. Not being a sandwich fan myself, I&#8217;ve tried to find new and creative ways to use up all our leftovers!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The turkey<\/strong> is easy, use as you would turkey or chicken usually. Throw it in soups, casseroles, pastas or salads. But what about the other stuff? Here&#8217;s some great recipes to use up everything else in your fridge.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-IMAG1756.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-6622\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-IMAG1756-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMAG1756.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Cranberry sauce<\/strong>: throw it in your favorite pancake\/waffle batter in place of the sugar. Not only do you get pretty pink waffles with warm cranberries inside, you can top it with the cranberry sauce (and a little whipped cream!) instead of syrup for a sweet, tangy and healthy-er treat. (It&#8217;s filled with fruit!!!)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rolls<\/strong>: \u00a0We made breakfast sandwiches with butter and jelly the next morning.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/wpid-IMAG1152.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-6142\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/wpid-IMAG1152-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Shepherd's Pie\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Mashed potatoes<\/strong>: use them to top a shepherd&#8217;s pie (my favorite Recipe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/10\/a-st-patricks-day-feast\/\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-IMAG1765.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-6623\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/wpid-IMAG1765-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"wpid-IMAG1765.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><strong>Sweet potatoes<\/strong>: make a noodle kugle. Hubby and I had an amazing noodle kugle at the Brooklyn Diner while visiting New York City and since I over cooked my sweet potatoes, I thought why not try it? I mixed the sweet potatoes with some eggs then the cooked pasta. Baked for a bit and voila! Delicious!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/DSC03521.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-6624\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/DSC03521-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"SONY DSC\" width=\"226\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/DSC03521-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/DSC03521-600x399.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/DSC03521-376x250.jpg 376w, https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/DSC03521-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/DSC03521-1000x664.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px\" \/><\/a><strong>Vegetables<\/strong>: we had zucchini and broccoleaf this year (because it&#8217;s what I had in my fridge!) But any leftover vegetable can be turned into an easy stew. Simply throw the leftovers into a crockpot with a can of diced tomatoes and your protein of choice&#8211;beans, turkey, chicken, beef, bacon, sausage, shrimp&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stuffing\/dressing<\/strong>: I didn&#8217;t have this leftover since my aunt made it and took it home in the dish she brought though it was delicious (and I don&#8217;t usually like it!) but\u00a0if I had it, I would probably stuff some chicken breasts with it or make a roulade and enjoy it some more!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pumpkin pie<\/strong>: i&#8217;m sure there&#8217;s a way to change it up, but Doodle liked it just the way it is so for us it became baby breakfast (it&#8217;s made with vegetables!).
