shirt and ran away with it (a new game Sugarplum’s devised)

Honeybun cried because I wouldn’t let her take her Hello Kitty hat for show and tell that she took a few weeks ago (she was supposed to bring seeds from a fruit or vegetable but we don’t currently have any seeded items so we picked something related before she changed her mind—and then lost her mind)

Sugarplum cried because I asked her to go potty before we got in the car (a long standing rule: everyone must potty before leaving the house)

Sugarplum cried because we had to leave the park to run an errand and she wanted to get Honeybun first

Sugarplum cried because I turned off the light in a room we were leaving

Sugarplum cried because I opened the car door to buckle her carseat

Sugarplum cried because we had to go get Honeybun at school

Honeybun cried because I wouldn’t share my sandwich at lunch and she “doesn’t know what it tastes like”

Sugarplum cried because I took her lunch away after warning her about 10 times over 15 minutes that it was almost lunch time

Honeybun cried because the fan in her room at nap wasn’t on high enough

Sugarplum cried after she woke up from her nap because I opened the door but she wanted to come out

Sugarplum cried because she hurt herself at the park 5 hours earlier

Sugarplum cried when I told her we were having carrot cake for dessert (it didn’t help that Daddy laughed when she exclaimed “why?” and ran to her
