Fun fact: \u00a0Neither of my girls were born in the month they were due (and I don\u2019t think this one will be either).\u00a0 I somehow ended up with two July babies yet I\u2019ve never had a July due date. \u00a0Honeybun\u00a0was due the end of June and arrived 10 days late.\u00a0 Sugarplum was due early August and arrived a week early. For this one \u00a0I don\u2019t even tell people my actual due date, I simply say \u201cearly May\u201d because I don\u2019t believe in a single due date, I think focusing on a due range is much better (I don\u2019t think my hubby even knows the official due date for baby #3).<\/p>\n
With Honeybun\u00a0I was very focused on the due date as my \u201cend\u201d point, which turned out okay since I went over.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t end up obsessing for weeks and weeks about when she was coming.\u00a0 I knew she could come earlier but didn\u2019t stress until the due date came and went and I only stressed then because the midwives and doctors started throwing around the terrifying “I” word (induction) and were ordering extra tests to make sure she was growing since I wasn’t.<\/p>\n
With Sugarplum I focused on my getting-back-to-Florida date which was around 37 \u00bd weeks.\u00a0 My cousin whom we had arranged to watch Honeybun\u00a0came a few days after we arrived and hubby came the next week.\u00a0 I had hardly any time to wait for Sugarpum as she came just a few days after hubby arrived.<\/p>\n
This one for some reason I\u2019ve always had my mind focused on my \u201cfull-term date\u201d at 37 weeks.\u00a0 37 weeks is also the point at which I can have the baby at home, before that I\u2019d have to transfer to the hospital and probably to a doctor I\u2019ve never met.\u00a0 I realize that I may have many weeks of waiting and stressing if I go much past that but I have a feeling I won\u2019t.\u00a0 Something about this baby is telling me just getting to 37 might be a challenge and going much past that is highly unlikely.\u00a0 Though it’s true babies come whenever they want and my mommy signals could be getting messed up!\u00a0 Either way, in 8 weeks or less baby will be in my arms and I can\u2019t wait to see his\/her precious little face!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
