with young children is playing with jell-o. \u00a0It&#8217;s multi-sensory since it smells, has a flavor (if they happen to taste test it) and has many touch sensations including being cold, slimy, squishy, smooth and soft. \u00a0It&#8217;s also super easy, doesn&#8217;t require a lot of prep or a lot of cleanup!<\/p>\n<p>I usually make the jell-o following the instructions for jigglers. \u00a0When the jell-o is set, I let the older kids use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. \u00a0Inevitably they end up just squishing it in their hands and exploring the way it feels in their
