{"id":4726,"date":"2014-06-04T07:36:34","date_gmt":"2014-06-04T11:36:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/?p=4726"},"modified":"2016-01-18T18:43:21","modified_gmt":"2016-01-18T23:43:21","slug":"waiting-for-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/2014\/06\/04\/waiting-for-summer\/","title":{"rendered":"Waiting for Summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It seems like all my friends around the country are already done with the school year and I can&#8217;t wait until tomorrow when school is finally out for Honeybun!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><strong>Sometimes I like to close my eyes, <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> and imagine what it\u2019ll be like when summer does come\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\" alt=\"20140604-073400.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/20140604-073400.jpg\" width=\"288\" height=\"288\" \/><strong>School\u2019s at an end, kids&#8217;ll finally get to sleep in<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> And I\u2019ll be doing whatever mommies do in summer.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> A drink by the pool, it\u2019s going to be really awesome and cool.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> Probably gonna be really stress-free in summer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><strong> I\u2019ll finally see a happy girl, get out of her school year funk.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> And finally throw away those tennis shoes that really stunk!<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> And I can\u2019t wait to play with our buddies almost every day.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> Just imagine how much fun we\u2019ll have in summer!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><strong> Dah dah, da doo, uh bah bah bah bah bah boo<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong>Free time without school can be so much fun, <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong>I can\u2019t wait to play in the hot summer sun!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><strong> Rrr Raht da daht dah dah dah dah dah dah dah dah doo<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><strong> The school year is no time for sitting around being lazy, <\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> But by the end of summer I\u2019ll be totally \u2014 calm and collected!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><strong> When life gets me stressed, I like to sit and daydream,<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> Of a time and place where everything\u2019s serene\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"><strong> Oh school will be through, and my kids will be happy toooooo!<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00bfff;\"> <strong> When I finally do what mommies do in summer!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It seems like all my friends around the country are already done with the school year and I can&#8217;t wait until tomorrow when school is finally out for Honeybun!
