The first week of my “8 Weeks to a Happier Home”<\/a> project went pretty well. \u00a0I was easily able to get our master bedroom organized within a few days without giving up my usual activities. \u00a0I even had time to rework the curtains that were there when we moved in and that I have HATED every second since (more on their transformation and a special surprise for my readers later, stay tuned!) \u00a0Then over the weekend Hubby helped me with a few things like hanging the last of the pictures and putting the valances back up.<\/p>\n

So, here it is, Zone 1 transformed!<\/p>\n

Quick and easy, a little organizing and done in about 30 minutes!<\/p>\n

\"Slide2\"<\/a>It’s amazing what a difference a little organizing makes!<\/p>\n

\"Slide3\"<\/a>All the bathroom needed was a good organizer. \u00a0I found this cute kids bookshelf unit at Target, added a few drawers and for under $50 we now have a functional, organized space (finally!)<\/p>\n

\"Slide4\"<\/a>I mostly hated the tassels on these curtains but I also didn’t care for the swag, points and ruffles, it was all too foo-foo for us. \u00a0I removed the tassles, cut off the middle points, recut to remove the swag and top ruffles. \u00a0Now they are much more streamlined and much more our style!<\/p>\n
