Movement Milestones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Most mommies know what movement milestones to expect during their child\u2019s first year, but many don\u2019t know when to expect them to occur.\u00a0 Every developmental milestone, including those in the realm of gross motor development have an age range which is considered typical.\u00a0 And while there is a general sequence of when milestones are reached, it is not uncommon for a child to hit one milestone before the next or to skip milestones altogether!<\/p>\n<h2>There are lots of movement milestones in the first year, but these are the big over:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Usually occurs between 2 and 6 months: a child can first roll from tummy to back or back to tummy.\u00a0 This is often determined by how a baby plays and their unassisted:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Usually occurs between 5 and 8: As babies get stronger and can hold their heads up, they will being able to sit with support and will overtime develop the muscle
