To celebrate President’s Day, here are Hoeybun’s thoughts on the presidents:<\/p>\n
Abraham Lincoln:
\nHe was a very nice president.
\nHe used to say “Four score and seven years ago…”
\nHe had a tall hat.
\nHe carried mail in his top hat.
\nWe’re going to celebrate him.<\/p>\n
Washington:
\nHe had curly hair.
\nHe was very nice.
\nHe used to be alive.
\nHe was the third president.<\/p>\n
Bronco Bama:
\nI think he’s still alive.
\nHe was very very very nice.
\nHe wanted everybody to get along (oh, no, wait…that was Martin Luther King, Jr.)
\nWe are celebrating him.<\/p>\n
Obvioulsy, she still has a lot to learn about America’s Presidential history, but I’m proud of what she already knows for ony being 5! (These were her exact words, but we did correct her misunderstandings as we went along!)<\/p>\n
