Naming a baby for me has got to be one of the most important yet stressful things a parents does.\u00a0 The name you choose to put on a child will be with them forever and I don\u2019t take that responsibility lightly.\u00a0 We aren\u2019t overly critical of names to the extent of analyzing every possible teasing scenario, but we do rule out obvious teasing triggers.\u00a0 Honeybun’s name came to us fairly easily but Sugarplum \u00a0took a bit more discussion.\u00a0 The next baby (due in 12 weeks or less!!!) had been even harder.\u00a0 We still have not settled yet on either a boy or girl name (since we don\u2019t know the sex we like to be prepared with one of each).<\/p>\n
We have chosen to use family names as middle names for our children (though we did change the spellings) and even this part for baby #3 has been hard.\u00a0 I\u2019ve spent many nap times perusing our family trees (which my sister and grandmother have spent many hours on) and thought I would share a few of the gems I found:<\/p>\n
