I spend a lot of complaining about being a mommy so in honor of Valentine\u2019s Day I thought I would share a few of the things I love about my children:<\/p>\n

I LOVE Sugarplum’s sweet little voice and how she uses such big girl phrases<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Honeybun\u00a0is so proud when she learns new things in school<\/p>\n

I LOVE Sugarplum’s squished up smile face she makes when she\u2019s trying really hard to smile<\/p>\n

I LOVE feeling my sweet little baby slosh around in my belly (and lets me know I\u2019m squishing him\/her by violently kicking me)<\/p>\n

I LOVE how I can have a real conversation with Honeybun\u00a0about very adult things (like why we blink) and she gets it<\/p>\n

I LOVE the way Sugarplum \u00a0says \u201cThank You\u201d automatically when I do something for her<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Honeybun\u00a0gets so upset when Sugarplum doesn\u2019t want a hug or a kiss<\/p>\n

I LOVE the looks on my girls\u2019 faces when we do something special or new for them<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Sugarplum still asks to be carried like my little baby (even though I can\u2019t right now :[ )<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Honeybun\u00a0demands a hug every night before bed even though we always give her kisses<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Sugarplum wraps her arms around Honeybun\u00a0and hugs her so tight<\/p>\n

I LOVE watching my girls dance around the room in their mommy made tutus and how proud they are to show me their arabesques and passes<\/p>\n

I LOVE when Honeybun\u00a0does such helpful big girls things for me like putting English muffins in the toaster when I forgot and can\u2019t leave my sauce<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Sugarplum gives such awkward little kisses that still take so much effort<\/p>\n

I LOVE how every time I leave Honeybun\u00a0looks me in the eye and says \u201cMommy, you\u2019ll come back, right?\u00a0 You always come back.\u201d<\/p>\n

I LOVE the excitement my girls have every night when Daddy gets home from work<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Sugarplum says \u201cWub You\u201d for no reason<\/p>\n

I LOVE how excited Honeybun\u00a0is about the new baby coming and always wants to feel the baby move and asks how the baby is doing<\/p>\n

I LOVE how Sugarplum can entertain herself almost all morning while Honeybun\u00a0is at school and I can get things done<\/p>\n

I LOVE how I can sit on the couch with Honeybun\u00a0and watch Rick Steves\u2019 Europe without her getting bored (cause \u201cMommy, we\u2019ve been there!\u201d)<\/p>\n

I LOVE listening to my girls sing in the car<\/span><\/p>\n

I LOVE how Sugarplum wraps herself around my belly and repeatedly whispers \u201cI Love you baby\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I LOVE dreaming about how amazing the next baby will be and how much I\u2019m going to love her\/him (and already do!)<\/span><\/p>\n

I LOVE how sometimes Honeybun\u00a0makes a face and for a fleeting moment she looks just like the tiny little baby that changed my whole world<\/span><\/p>\n

I LOVE how just thinking about how much I love my children makes me tear up<\/strong><\/p>\n

And maybe it\u2019s selfish but I LOVE how much they LOVE me, even on my worst days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But most of all, I LOVE that they are mine to keep and love forever.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
