‘Twas two weeks before Christmas and in my haste,
\nChristmas had thrown up all over the place!<\/p>\n

The stockings were not hung by the chimney with care,
\nInstead flung over the back of a chair!<\/p>\n

The room is stilled filled with oodles of boxes,
\nWhile my head spins not with carols but songs about foxes.<\/p>\n

\"SONY<\/p>\n

The tree is put up and adorned with good cheer,
\nBut I dread that St. Nicholas soon will be here.<\/p>\n

Nowhere to be found are the beloved Christmas scents,
\nNor under the tree are there any presents.<\/p>\n

The lights are put up and the holly wreath too,
\nBut there is still just too much to do!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My shopping list is still more than a mile long
\nAnd through all the stress I’m trying to stay strong.<\/p>\n

As my dear friends around the world dig out of the snow,
\nI have been busy with a holiday show.<\/p>\n

My weekend flew by in a blink of the eye<\/span><\/p>\n

But I can’t help but marvel at the beautiful blue sky.<\/p>\n

The temperature outside is still nice and roasty,
\nNo need to curl up by the fire to get toasty.<\/p>\n

And while I like going out for a stroll,
\nThe feeling of Christmas is a little bit droll.<\/p>\n

No dusting of snow, no chill in the air,
\nInstead I’m in charge of my own Christmas flair.\"SONY<\/p>\n

So I turn on the carols and light a few candles,
\nAnd try to forget that I’m still wearing sandals.<\/p>\n

For the spirit of Christmas is not in the things
\nOr in the heaps of presents that Santa might bring.<\/p>\n

Christmas is for celebrating family and friends
\nAnd I’m not looking forward to when it all ends.<\/p>\n

Because I know it will all be over in a flash
\nAnd away my family will be gone in a dash.<\/p>\n

And we will return back to the normal, everyday grind,
\nWhen all of the Christmas hullabaloo is behind.<\/p>\n

So I tell my girls to be thankful for those that they love,
