For some reason I\u2019ve been unusually emotional lately.\u00a0 I\u2019ve spent the better part of the past week on the brink of tears (though I\u2019ve managed to not actually cry yet).\u00a0 So, to add to my “Reasons My Daughters Cried”<\/a>\u00a0 post, here are only a few of the reasons I\u2019VE almost cried this week:<\/p>\n

Because Doodle is 6 months.<\/p>\n

Because something reminded me of my Nana and I miss her.<\/p>\n

Because I totally failed as a decent ballet teacher last week.<\/p>\n

Because Honeybun hurt her foot and I couldn\u2019t make it better.<\/p>\n

Because Sugarplum still likes to curl up in my lap for a cuddle.<\/p>\n

Because I can\u2019t get the stains out of ANOTHER one of Honeybun’s\u00a0shirts.<\/p>\n

Because I yelled at my girls and then felt guilty about it.<\/p>\n

Because my 30th<\/sup> Birthday \u201ccelebration\u201d was the most pathetic thing I\u2019ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

Because I found out Honeybun’s\u00a0teacher will be having her baby any day now and I LOVE her and don\u2019t want a sub for 3+ months.<\/p>\n

Because my to-do list is miles long and I don\u2019t have the time, patience or energy to do more than survive.<\/p>\n

Because I accidentally pinched Sugarplum’s leg while buckling her car seat.<\/p>\n

Because I can\u2019t dance the way I used to.<\/p>\n

Because I forgot to eat, again.<\/p>\n

Because I forgot to shower, again.<\/p>\n

Because my tailbone is still messed up and hurts from Doodle’s birth and I haven\u2019t had time to call for an appointment, let alone go in to get it worked on.<\/p>\n

Because I got a flu shot.<\/p>\n

Because Honeybun\u00a0got a flu shot and the nurse messed up and had to do it twice.<\/p>\n

Because Honeybun\u00a0read a book to ME that I used to read to her when she was a baby.<\/p>\n

Because I had to dig glass shards out of the garbage disposal (while Doodle screamed).<\/p>\n

Because I\u2019m so unbelievably exhausted.<\/p>\n

Because it\u2019s all so overwhelming sometimes.<\/p>\n

Because I wrote this yesterday and then realized it was Traveling Tuesday and I didn’t have a traveling post!<\/p>\n
