can\u2019t believe my sweet little boy is 20 weeks today!\u00a0 It\u2019s strange because 20 weeks is such a momentous milestone in a pregnancy , halfway to the end yet 20 weeks of life is just the beginning!\u00a0 The last 20 weeks of pregnancy\u00a0 provides a massive amount of growth and development and the first 20 weeks of life are no different.\u00a0 I\u2019m constantly amazed by all the things my little dude (\u201cDoodle\u201d as I have come to call him) has learned in such a short time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/0904131022a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1491 alignright\" alt=\"0904131022a\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/0904131022a-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/0904131022a-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/0904131022a-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/0904131022a-333x250.jpg https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/0904131022a-390x293.jpg 390w, https:\/\/www.beyondmommying.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/0904131022a.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>He is now sitting unsupported, usually tripoding with his hands for support but can sit upright for a small length of time unless he gets too excited and falls over (a small tip of that ginormous head in the wrong direction sure can take baby down fast!)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">His favorite place to be is in his exersaucer.\u00a0 We actually bought a 2<\/span><sup>nd<\/sup><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\"> one (one for the play room and one for the TV room) so I don\u2019t have to move it around and he can be happy both places we spend a lot of time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">He loves to be held standing and \u201cdance\u201d.\u00a0 He wobbles around and if you say \u201cDance, baby, dance!\u201d he\u2019ll usually start singing too!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">He likes to make \u201cooooooh\u201d sounds and usually gives himself the hiccups from too much oohing or laughing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">He is by far the most social baby I\u2019ve ever known.\u00a0 He wants everyone around to smile and talk to him and if someone isn\u2019t looking at him he will do what he can to get their attention.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">His reach and grab has developed very suddenly.\u00a0 He can now intentionally reach for things, grab them and most of the time get them to his mouth.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">He has quickly learned cause and effect, he knows which toys make noise and how to make the noise happen.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.7;\">He has something indescribable about him that is so engaging, he just sucks you in and impels you to kiss, hug, smile and love him!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I can\u2019t believe my sweet little boy is 20 weeks today!\u00a0
