I used to be really good at planning ahead. I could easily\u00a0remember everything I needed to do without a planner or calendar. I always arrived on time, and usually early. I never forgot important events and was often prepared way in advance.<\/p>\n

Fast forward four kids and whole lot of life later and I’m the exact opposite. I can’t seem to get anywhere on time, I’m always forgetting things and leaving things until the last minute.<\/p>\n

And while I’ve always loved creating one of a kind gifts, unique to the specific receiver, my time and patience for going above and beyond in\u00a0showing people how much I cared for them has also waned.<\/p>\n

But one place I’ve tried to stay on top of things is for Father’s Day. Hubby and I don’t usually do birthday or anniversary gifts and try to keep Christmas low key so Father’s Day is my one chance to go above and beyond for him. Plus, I’ve always tried\u00a0to do an easy Father’s Day gift that’s more from the kids than from me.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t mean, though, that I’m always good a planning ahead to get something done. In fact, I’ll admit that I’m usually throwing something together at what feels like the last minute (though he doesn’t usually know!) which is why I love this year’s kid-created, easy Father’s Day Gift: it can be easily completed at the last minute, in less than an afternoon and is almost completely kid made!<\/p>\n
