The WriteShop Primary program\u00a0emphasizes creating a writing center to help encourage writing and facilitate the lessons. I’m still working on setting up our writing center within the space we have for homeschooling, but I have gathered and organized most of the supplies needed to set up a WriteShop Primary Writing Center.<\/p>\n

Keep a alphabet chart handy for younger kids to reference when writing.

Chart Paper<\/a><\/h4>\n

Chart paper is used for the guided writing practice at the beginning of each lesson to model writing activities.<\/p>\n

Manila File Folders<\/a><\/h4>\n

File folders are used for creating portable word banks young writers can reference.<\/p>\n

Pocket Chart<\/a><\/h4>\n

A Pocket Chart is used to display sentence strips created during pocket chart activities in the program.<\/p>\n
