I\u2019ve always been pretty computer saavy.\u00a0 My family had a computer at home long before anyone else I knew did.\u00a0 My daddy did IT work and had a home computer for when he needed to solve middle of the night problems.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m pretty good at figuring out how to use most new computer software and create spreadsheets for everything!\u00a0 Where I\u2019ve always been a little timid, though, is with social media.\u00a0 Even though I was in college during the heyday of MySpace and the start of Facebook, I wasn\u2019t on either.\u00a0 I always contended that if anyone from my past wanted to find me, my phone number and e-mail had stayed the same and I didn\u2019t want people who never cared about me in the first place trying to get in touch with me.\u00a0 I joined Facebook less than 4 years ago, around the time people\u2019s parents were starting to join too!<\/p>\n
I was trying to find a friend from the past and her phone number I had was no longer good so I signed myself up and easily found her, along with about 100 other people.\u00a0 I don\u2019t have nearly as many \u201cfriends\u201d as most people I know but I do know each and every one of my \u201cfriends\u201d personally and would get gladly get coffee or dinner with any one of them.\u00a0 I don\u2019t accept requests from people I don\u2019t know or don\u2019t care for.<\/p>\n
