\"SONY<\/a>I am a stay at home mommy.\u00a0 That doesn\u2019t mean I don\u2019t work.\u00a0 In fact, I work twice as hard as any other job I\u2019ve ever had only I don\u2019t get a paycheck.\u00a0 Instead I get paid with kisses, hugs, \u201cI Love You\u201ds, \u201cI Hate You\u201ds, smacks and tears.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m lazy or useless.\u00a0 It means I sacrifice myself and my own goals every day for the happiness and wellbeing of my family.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t mean my family is always happy or that we are \u201cwell off\u201d.\u00a0 It means I struggle every day with myself and within my marriage over the choice of whether or not to not provide my family with an income.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m worthless.\u00a0 It means I\u2019m priceless and that we as a family value my time with our children more than we would a few extra bucks each month.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t mean I value every second I get to spend with my children.\u00a0 It means I value being able to shape their character and guide their moral compass while they are small.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t mean I do everything right or that I\u2019m a perfect role model.\u00a0 It means I\u2019m human and I show my children how to make mistakes and learn from them.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t mean I know everything.\u00a0 It means I know when to take a break, walk away and ask for help.<\/p>\n

I am a stay at home mommy and all that means is that I love my children with all my heart and have chosen to give them everything I have day in and day out.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t get vacation time, sick time, personal days, coffee breaks, health benefits or even a lunch break but I work harder than I ever have in my life because no job I have ever done has been more important.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
