But it doesn&#8217;t mean we don&#8217;t\u00a0<em>do<\/em> science. We just approach elementary science a little differently: we read a lot and talk a lot instead of following a study guide and doing random experiments and projects. It allows them to get involved in self-guided exploration\u00a0and in the process, they also learn those elementary science topics!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/click-7494303-13708142?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.discountschoolsupply.com%2Fstem-curriculum%2Fsolution-kits-resources%2Fstem-solution-kits%2Fexcellerations-super-science-kit---103-pieces%2Fp%2F38589&amp;cjsku=38589\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lduhtrp.net\/image-7494303-13708142?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fdmzn2b8hkpq8b.cloudfront.net%2Fimages%2Fproducts%2F515x515%2FS648203.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"515\" height=\"515\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Science Kits<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We have a few different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/links\/7494303\/type\/dlg\/https:\/\/www.discountschoolsupply.com\/all-categories\/stem-curriculum\/steve-spangler-science-plp\/c\/offer_splr0220?q=%3Arelevance%3Abrand%3ASteve%2BSpangler%2BScience&amp;text=\">science kits<\/a> we keep around that allow the kids to explore different concepts of chemistry, physics and archaeology (Honeybun has a small dinosaur obsession!) It&#8217;s a great opportunity to do something fun and learn at the same time. But I do make exceptions for educational activities and we often turn to technology to help us with answering science questions or exploring elementary science topics we&#8217;re interested in.
