Mother’s Day is just around the corner and you are probably looking for just the right Mother’s Day gift for a special mommy in your life. And while I have tons of great craft ideas, any of which would make an awesome Mother’s Day gift like any of my hand or footprint crafts or this cute Butterfly and Flower diorama, here are the Mother’s Day gifts she really wants but won’t ask for:
Potty Privacy
Getting to use the toilet without interruption or having to listen to chaos or cutting it short due to a crisis is just a dream for most mommies.
A Long, Hot Shower
An uninterrupted shower where I didn’t have to rush it because of a crying baby or get in and out quickly as to not waste too much of my precious nap time would be awesome!
A Hot Cup of Coffee
Speaking of hot, how awesome would it be to be able to make a cup of coffee and FINISH it before it got cold!? (without having to reheat multiple times, of course, that doesn’t count!)
A Real Vacation
I pretty much start and end every day with the thought “I need a vacation!” This doesn’t necessarily mean I’m desperate to get away from my kids but love getting away from diaper changing, food preparing, putting kids to bed/nap, breaking up fights, etc.
Sleeping In
I don’t even remember what this feels like. Four kids in seven years means my body has been on perpetual early wake-ups and just one morning of lying around in bed without a baby on my boob or attacking my face is just a dream!
A peaceful, hot meal
I don’t even remember what it’s like to eat a whole meal at home while it’s still hot and without having to get up to get things, tell my kids to be patient or hold the baby. No matter how much I prepare, I just can’t seem to make it happen!
Peace and Quiet
Just a few minutes of quiet and everyone getting along would be the best.thing.ever!

AHHH! This is too funny! I want every one of these things! The necklaces and bracelets can wait. Seriously, peace and quiet and a warm cup of coffee! And not having to rewarm it in the microwave five different times!
I’ve given up on the coffee reheating, I just drink it cold now!
