Gifts for Mom: What She Really Wants

The mommy in your life may have given you a list of what she wants for Christmas, but I’m guessing there are a few things she left off.  Here are the gifts for mom that she really wants but won’t ask for:mommy presents

Potty Privacy

Seriously, getting to use the toilet without interruption or having to listen to chaos or cut it short because there is a crisis would just be too awesome to handle for most moms!

A Long, Hot Shower

If I could get a shower in where I didn’t have to rush it because of a crying baby or not have to get in and out quickly as to not waste too much of my precious nap time on personal hygiene I would love it!shower

A Hot Cup of Coffee

Speaking of hot, how awesome would it be to be able to make a cup of coffee and FINISH it before it got cold!?  (without having to reheat multiple times, of course, that doesn’t count!)microwave coffee

A Real Vacation

This doesn’t necessarily mean being away from the kids but getting an actual break from diaper changing, food preparing, putting kids to bed/nap, breaking up fights, etc. would be a real vacation and special treat!

Quiet

Seriously.  Just a few minutes of quiet would be golden.

Uninterrupted Sleep

Oh the glory of getting a full night’s sleep without anyone waking you up because they’re hungry or had a bad dream or can’t sleep.  I just can’t even imagine!mommy sleeping

A peaceful, hot meal

I don’t even remember what it’s like to eat a whole meal at home while it’s still hot and without having to get up to get things, tell my kids to be patient or hold the baby.  No matter how much I prepare, I just can’t seem to make it happen!hot meal

Peace on Earth (or at least at home)

You know what is the best thing ever?  When everyone gets along! I can not even put into words how glorious life is when everyone is happy and playing nicely together!card game
