Advice for Big Siblings

Honeybun helped me out with today’s post. Here are her tips and advice on being a big sister:

1) Be nice to the baby. You can’t be mean to the baby. You can’t bite the baby. You can’t hit the baby. You can’t punch the baby.

2) Babies are sweet and kind. They smile and laugh and they like their big sisters/brothers.

3) You can be helpful. You can help the baby get dressed, help him/her walk, learn to be nice, and sing him songs. You can help mommy take care of the baby, help lay him/her down, get stuff for mommy like diapers, and help watch him/her and make sure s/he is not doing stuff s/he isn’t supposed to do.

4) New babies need a lot of help. Mommies have to stay close to the baby and mommies have to give the baby milk. Mommies have to help the baby learn.

5) You have to share. You have to share toys and you can share your food if the baby is allowed to have it. You have to share your daddy and mommy.

6) Babies sleep and cry.
